Anvil Renews Lease at Crossroads DC

Anvil International, LLC has renewed its lease at 2625 N Berkeley Lake Road. Anvil occupies a 16,240 square foot facility in what is known as Building 200 at Crossroads Distribution Center.

Crossroads Distribution Center is a 322,780 square foot industrial development made up of two buildings constructed in 2000 and 2001.

JanPak Signs 84,000 SF Lease in Jacksonville

JanPak Inc. has signed a lease for about 84,000 square feet in a previously unoccupied warehouse on the Westside, but it will vacate a total of 90,000 square feet in another nearby industrial park.

JanPak, which distributes cleaning and packaging products for businesses, will move into Building 200 at Crossroads Distribution Center at 6600 Pritchard Road in mid-November, said Mike Janis, vice president of logistics for JanPak.

JanPak is the first tenant in the speculative building built by Atlanta-based Republic Property Co.

Janis said his company currently leases 60,000 square feet and sublets another 30,000 square feet in Westside Industrial Park. The new location will include 8,000 square feet of office space — up from 3,000 square feet in the previous location.

 The location and quality of the building were driving forces in the decision, Janis said. He said the majority of the company’s 50 employees live in the Westside area. The Crossroads location also has 32-foot ceilings, which maximizes storage space.

“We wanted a Grade A building,” Janis said. “It’s typical of the buildings that JanPak is going after now.”

Bobby Gatling and Ladson Montgomery of Grubb & Ellis/Phoenix Realty Inc. represented Republic Property in the transaction. Jesse Shimp and Chris Skibinski of Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. (NYSE: JLL) represented JanPak.

Alcatel-Lucent USA Renews Lease in Forest Park

Alcatel-Lucent USA, formerly known as Lucent Technologies, Inc., has renewed its lease at AirLogistics Center II.

AirLogistics Center II is a 340,220 square foot industrial development consisting of three rear-load buildings at the corner of Forest Parkway and Old Dixie Highway in Forest Park, Ga.

Sharon Weber of UGL Services represented the tenant, while Luke Pope of Republic Property Company represented the landlord in-house.

Custom Healthcare Expands

June 2012

Custom Healthcare of Georgia has signed an expansion and renewal at 3097 Presidential Drive. Custom expanded its 4,200 square foot facility by 3,687 square feet. The expansion took place as a result of ATG Rehab purchasing Custom Healthcare and combining the two offices.

Presidential Drive Business Center is a quality office/warehouse park located along Interstate-85 at the Chamblee Tucker Interchange. The park is comprised of two buildings totaling 62,581 square feet. Cabot Properties is the owner.

Rogers & Brown Extends at Air II

Rogers & Brown Custom Brokers has extended its lease at 107 Forest Parkway for an additional five years. Rogers & Brown was the original tenant in what is known as Building 200 at AirLogistics Center II.
